Dear Livejournal,
A few weeks ago, I worked up the courage to awkwardly tell the guy I'm head over heels for how I feel about him. Lucky me, he feels the same way, but is worried about dating so soon after breakups and wants to be cautious.

Guess who has a new girlfriend? Guess who doesn't know why I'm mad?

Deadpool: Merc With a Mouth #6: Still funny, still wandering around with Headpool. Even though Deadpool will be traversing the Marvel Zombie universe (I hope?), the funniest part of the comic was actually the recap. And I can never look at Marvel Zombies again after what they did to Spider-man.

Tiny Titans #23: THIS IS SO CUTE. If you don't read any comics at all, you should at least read Tiny Titans. Batman just... and Tim and Jason dressed up as baby Robins... and they glued bunnies to the ceiling HJSDGHBHDYGDSHR it's like adorable crack that doesn't suck.

Deadpool #18: Usually I like Merc With a Mouth better than the regular Deadpool title, but nooooot thiiiis weeeeeek. They've been playing up the funny, hilariously silly part of Deadpool, so it's nice to take a break and see the guy actually be good at something. He saved the X Men's reputation AND the day, just by being a smart cookie with major skills. And Cyclops looked like a cock, which is nice.

Justice League: Cry for Justice #1: NGL, I only bought this because the art is kind of extremely cool. Except... um... he makes Wonder Woman's bottom half like, really skinny? Like I think that would ride up into her vag and be horrible :( BUT OLLIE CALLING HAL "BABY" AND WANTING TO RUN OFF AND FIGHT CRIME WITH HIM? YES. I AM FOR THIS. rofl they're so funny together.

Ollie: "Remember back int the day... when I lost my millions and became liberal?" <-- I wish this would happen to more people.

Justice League: CFJ #2: Hal: I have a confession to make.
Ollie: If it involves the Huntress, Lady Blackhawk, and a bottle of Grappa, Dinah already told me. And all I have to say is "Well played, sir".

Oo! And DC has a legit gay hero who isn't a lesbian? I did not even know that. Now I am in the loop.

Hal: "I know this is Gotham, where it's law apparenly that people conduct every important conversation on a rooftop" lol Hal. Why aren't you cool in the normal GL series? :(

Anyway, this series is super good so far. There's a new Captain Marvel? Jesus Hussein I'm out of it. Anyway, the current Super Awesome Team consists of Hal, Green Arrow, Supergirl, the Atom, Flash (Jay), Congorilla/Bill, and the old Starman. Need more.

I'll do the rest when I finish watching Generation Kill.

I'm just gonna use this hurr journal to write about something that turned out to be pretty bangin and big in my life. JESUS. What haell no it's not Jesus. He probably wasn't that tall. Anyway, I'm no fancy writer with them fancy words and the english and siiiich, so yeah. I'm not writing a masterpiece.

Anyway, I tend to get a lot of confusion, disapproval, and all around crap/eye rolling due to my feelings on relationships. Namely, I don't really want to get married, and I have absolutely no issue with having multiple partners within a relationship. Now normally, if people were decent and minded their own damn business, this wouldn't be an issue whatsoever. But since I go on the forums and am a little vocal about my opinions, I tend to get some questions.

This alays gets brought up: Polyamory is just an excuse for people who can't control themselves. People who argue this are only looking at it from one side. This is implying that Partner A goes out and fucks everyone they want, but gets super pissed when Partner B does it. The idea is that both Partners A and B can have other partners in their lives without jealousy between the two. If it were just regular folk who can't control their sexual urges, you'd think they'd get protective or pissed after seeing their partner with someone else. But eh... it doesn't work that way. You don't GET jealous, not because you can't control your junk, but because sex isn't purely romantic to you, or you don't believe that romantic love should be confined to two people. It's not about having to fuck everything that moves, it's about trusting and understanding your partner. Wanting to share your love and affection with whomever you want, and not being bound by retarded social standards about how people should date and fuck.

Which brings us to our next one. How can you not be jealous? How can you eat zuccini? How can you watch Gilmore Girls? How can you look in the mirror and think that haircut looks good? How can you fail at making toast? It's just fucking toast! The fact that I don't have an answer for this one tends to "prove" that polyamory is just for hoes (and tricks) to some people. But I don't know, I just... don't mind lol. I saw my partner Bobby leave the bar with a girl I went to high school with, and I gave him a thumbs up. Good for him, getting some action! She's an awesome gal too, hooray! It just doesn't bother me. I have no idea why.

Polyamorous people are more likely to get pregnant or get STDs. Dude, it's not like I'm fucking the entire Brady Bunch and poking holes in all the condoms. I have only ever had sex with 3 people in my entire life, and I was very, very close to all of them. I can't even imagine taking off my pants in front of a stranger, because I have extremely dry leg skins that are horrible and scarring for me even though I've been told they're not that bad @_@. But somehow, people think that because I have no problem fucking people I'm pals with, I must be the town bicycle. Not true, folks! I STILL don't have sex with anyone I'm not 100% comfortable around. It's just not my scene, sorry. As for the STDs thing, really? If I completely trust the people I have sex with, and they say they don't have disease ridden junks, then I'm all set.

They're just dating/fucking more than one person because they're afraid of being alone. They're gonna end up dumping whichever one will give them less for the one who gives them more. I know a guy who got into a polyamorous relatonship, and it failed miserable as fuck. See, he wasn't really into the idea. He DID get jealous when his galpal was out and about with other dudes. He assumes that ALL people in these relationships get jealous, because he can't see how someone wouldn't. When he got dumped for the other person in the relationship, he assumed that all people in poly relationships are just in them because they can't make a decision and don't like being alone. So he argues against it completely based on his personal experience. People don't seem to understand that not everyone is them. Not everyone acts the same way they do. It's hard to tell someone that when their fingers are in their ears.

Anyway, rant over I guess. I'm slowly dealing with someone who is very into me, but really isn't into the kind of relationships I'm into. He asked me about a lot of it, but he doesn't get it. He probably never will, and that's not a bad thing. It's just a little frustrating...

Tl;dr pank likes dicks and boobies

Well, Bobby totally bombed is practice ASFAB for the military. You need a 50 to pass, and he got a 28. Boy's just not that academic. He wrote down a math problem for me ((3-2)5x8.25) because he couldn't solve it, but I showed him how. He doesn't... he doesn't have any self-confidence. He's afraid of studying, because he doesn't want to fail and look stupid.

I feel bad for him. I guess I can't be angry for lettng him convince me into this stupid fake marriage thing before he was even accepted. And now if he's not, we're double fucked.

Sorry I haven't been commenting on posts a lot. I'm a little busy.

Batman and Robin #4: JASON TODD. I am so happy that Grant Morrison decided to keep the Todd around for a villain, because he really makes a great one (sometimes). His first run as the Red Hood was le awesome king, so this pleases me already. Also, his crazy bitch friend is crazy. I absolutely adore the way Morrison writes Jason, with his silly hip lingo and excitement about justice and shiot. And lol @ them using Twitter when they destroy bad guys.

Green Arrow Black Canary #24: I love that crazy redhead who wants to bone Green Arrow. AND EFF YEAH SPEEDY SAVES THE DAY. Damn, gurl, all the ladies in this series so fine. For real though, everything in this comic is great.

Batgirl #2: IF I HAD KNOWN BATGIRL WAS ABOUT STEPHANIE BROWN, I WOULD NOT HAVE PURCHASED IT. I WILL POINTEDLY REFUSE TO PURCHASE IT FROM NOW ON, AS IF I HAVEN'T RANTED ABOUT HOW MUCH I HATE THAT CHARACTER ENOUGN ALREADY. BUT STILL: I HATE THIS CHARACTER. I MUST TYPE IN ALL CAPS TO EXPRESS MY RAGE AT HER BEING BATGIRL. AND I KNOW THE SERIES WILL END WITH BABS GIVING HER A BIG OL' STAMP OF APROVAL AND A HUG OR SOME SHIT which just makes me angrier. The only highlight of Mizz Brwon being Batgirl is that Cassandra Cain is NOT Batgirl. But you know what? Hollow victory. At least they had the decency to never put Cass in anything and ignore her, anyway.

Blackest night #3: SO GOOD. Oh god, Ray Palmer, who I suddenly care about after basically ignoring forever. The Indigo Lanterns are hardcore brah, and WHO CALLED WHITE LANTERN HAL JORDAN? WHY IT WAS ME and like everyone else in the world lol. Anyway, good shit. I teared up when the smart ha;f of Firestorm turned into salt.

Deadpool: Merc With a Mouth #3: lol jokes

THAT'S ALL FOR NOW, except Tiny Titans, which amounts to "lol cute".

Blackest Night #2: AQUAMAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAN. I like how they're killing off a bunch of people that nobody minds dying. Aqualad, you're okay, but sorry. I do feel a little bad for the Atom though. His teary-eyed phone call MAY have choked me up a little bit. Oo, and this issue has Zatanna.

Deadpool: Suicide Kings #5: Spider-man makes a joke about his web looking like jizz on someone's face. The two little fellas team up to stop some douche from being douchebaggy, and Deadpool gets laid in the end! For some reason, that was a legit "awwww" moment. Oh well, that's the end of this series anyway.

Models Inc #1: I only bought this because Tim Gunn was on the cover. He also got to wear the Iron Man costume in a little special at the back, and was all I CAN MAKE IT WORK which was amaaaaaaaazing, if you're into Tim Gunn (which I am). Unfortunately, the rest of the comic is super retarded.

Booster Gold #24: Booster, Rip, and Raven are still teamed up in an alternate future, trying to keep Deathstroke's son from killing Robin in the past so Trigon could rule in the future. Zatanna and Kyle Rayner are married, which.... I mean... I love that. I just love it. Anyway, Admiral Akbar came by to alert them of the trap and/or tarp, Boostah and pals save the daaaaaaaaaaay! Unfortunately, now Jaime has to deal with the wrath of the Black Beetle.

OH SHIT, and Ollie Queen was leading the rebellion. God I love Ollie. EVERY TIME. HE'S SUCH A CHAMP.

MILAGRO WILL BE SUPER IMPORTANT TO THE WORLD? YES. YES SHE HAD BETTER BE. I love tiny Milagro.

Green Lantern Corps #40: SALAAK LAID DOWN THE LAW. UNNNNNNNNNNF god that was amazing. I actually did a big audible YEAHUH when I read that BECAUSE IT WAS AMAZING. Also lol Guy Gardner is like a third in charge of the entire Corps hahaha. Guy can do it. EXCEPT HE GOT STABBED IN THE LEG. THAT BLEW ASS. He'll live though, because otherwise I will despair. Salaak will save you with his mighty computer, Guy! Anyway, Soranik, Iolande, and Arisia are bosses. SUCK IT OTHER COMIC BOOK HEROINES.

Deadpool #15: A surprisingly serious, angsty issue. Deadpool in a tiny purple roller skating suit pretending to be gay. It's funny how that counts as serious. Anyway, it was still really good. I kind of Hope Deadpool does join the X Men, even though I dislike them and their series.

YOUNG AVENGERS 4/5: I didn't even know they made this, but I like it. I don't know who ANYBODY is, and two of the new kids have the same haircut, earrings, jacket, and face. The only difference is that one of them wears a Spidey shirt. I don't really know what's going on at all, but I like Wiccan a lot, so it's aiight.

AND THAT IS IT.

Okay, so anyone who knows me knows that I LOVE seeing new people getting into comics. I love comics, and I love talking to people about comics. I love showing people comics they haven't read, discussing story arcs, heroes, villains, etc. It's absolutely my favorite thing.

So permit me to be annoyed JUST THIS ONCE at newbie comic fans.

By now, everyone knows that Disney bought Marvel. A young lady I was arguing with was so concerned that Disney would ruin "her Iron Man", that it would never be the same and she'd, I dunno, have a heart attack or something. After a bit of pressing, she admitted that she actually didn't read Iron Man, or any comics. She just really liked the movies.

OH. SO IT WOULDN'T REALLY FUCKING AFFECT YOU AT ALL, WOULD IT? Christ. I know being into western comics is nerd chic right now, but it's a little ridiculous to have legit comic posers AS MUCH AS I HATE EVEN THINKING ABOUT THAT WORD. Why would you bother pretending you read them, when you could ACTUALLY read them? I-I don't understand. Don't act all fake mad because you think it makes you look nerd smart :(

Side note: People who are still running around going WATCHMEN IS THE PINNACLE OF AMAZING, REALLY TOUCHES ON ISSUES, DID YOU SEE RORSCHACH?!?!???? Welcome to 20 years ago. Hey, I get excited when I read old stuff that's new to me too, but you have to understand that it's NOT new. Just because it was interesting for it's time doesn't mean it's STILL interesting now. That idea has been played and played and played in fiction for EVER, and here's a secret: Alan Moore didn't do it best. For the love of God, stop parading it around like the new hip craze. IT'S OVER TWENTY YEARS OLD. I'M SORRY YOU MISSED THE BOAT BUT ENOUGH IS ENOUGH. It's like suddenly getting into jeans and walking around going WOO. LOOK AT ME, I'M WEARING THESE NEW TYPE OF SLACKS CALLED JEANS. THEY'RE DURABLE AND TOUGH. LOOK HOW MANY STYLES. THIS ONE IS CALLED BOOTCUT. GO LEVIS WOOOOOO!

Anyway. Back to my usual nerd loving ways. Off to the comic shop to drool with my pals.

Green Lantern 45: I AM EXCITE ABOUT THESE BLACK LANTERNS. STILL. Don't care about Star Sapphires though, and the Carol loving Hal bit is just... whatever. Are there any dude Sapphires? :(

Batman and Robin 3: UHHHHH GRANT MORRISON. YOU A WEIRD DUDE. Still a good series, just weird as hail. Pyg was just... just... Grant Morrison. Have you been doing drugs again?

Gotham City Sirens 3: Guess who doesn't care about the Riddler?

Blackest Night Titans: I really like how the old Dove couldn't be resurrected by the black rings, but on the other hand, I don't care about the Titans at all.

Batman: The Widening Gyre by Kevin Smith: What a pile. Ivy's a whore, Joker's a (well) joke, Batman's a retard, and the plot sucks. Glad to see you got over your last Batman failure, Kev. Sigh.

Deadpool 14: Some pie-rat shit. MERC WITH A MOUTH IS BETTER. WHY ARE THERE SO MANY DEADPOOL TITLES? Oh, because I will buy them. Sigh.

Detective Comics 856: I still like Detective Comics, and I'm still surprised that I give fuck all about Batwoman. And then there were some werewolves and shit, with some tentacle monster or something. This series is kind of hard to follow if you haven't read Crime Bible, which I thought was too boring to finish :(
